The Hotel Maitai Lagoon Rangiroa (formerly the Novotel Lagoon Resort) is located on the banks of the lagoon in a large coconut plantation just minutes from the airport, between the villages of Avatoru and Tiputa.
The hotel features 38 comfortable Polynesian-style bungalows and rooms with balconies. A weekly activity program welcomes guests to a number of local entertainment on-site, including a Poisson Cru show, a flower crown presentation, pareo show, palm weaving, Polynesian music, and Tahitian dance lessons. Le Lagoon Bleu, the hotels’ restaurant, serves all meals and specializes in French cuisine.

Each air-conditioned bungalow features a king size bed or 2 twin beds, sitting area with sofa bed, desk, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, coffee/tea facilities, mini bar, telephone, television, ceiling fan, and in room safe.
