OPOA BEACH HOTEL is situated on the South of the Island of Raiatea, the “Sacred Island”, which shares its superb blue and turquoise lagoon with Tahaa, the “sister island”. This new site, still wild and preserved offers a place to discover:

All the bungalows, of tropical architecture are divided in 3 categories: Beach, Pool and garden. In all our very comfortable suites of 50 sqm2, one can find;

• Bedroom with a four poster king size bed, very comfortable linen, fan and safety box.
• Living room with a coach, TV, DVD player, CD, mini-bar, tea and coffee amenities and a desk with wireless internet access
• Spacious bathroom, with two shell shape sinks, a large Italian shower and independents toilets.
• Large deck with table, chairs and a hammock

The use of local materials such as coconut tree fibbers, roots of Maki-Maki for the lights and mirrors, the shell art pieces in the bathrooms and the embroidered linen are all parts of the decor and totally integrated with the light and bright colors of the bungalows and the white teak furniture. The beach bungalows benefit from an exceptional view and a direct access to the beach, when the garden and pool ones also enjoy a great sea view. The 30°C soft water swimming pool surrounded by sun lounges combined with the peace of the site is perfect to taste the sweet Polynesian farniente as well as our fresh fruits cocktails.

A warm welcome is waiting for you at the bar where you will be able to find a wide range of French Polynesian fruits flavoured mixed rums. All served in a relaxed atmosphere with the pool and ocean as your only view.
The restaurant, overlooking the sea, offers you the same special setting where you will be able to enjoy.

For breakfast, (continental or american), freshly baked viennoiseries, vanilla yoghurts, homemade fruits jams and compotes, fruits of The “Fenua”.

For lunch, a fresh, light cuisine with a large choice of local specialities including : raw fish Tahitian style, fish and steak tartar, sashimis, grilled fishes and meats and other suggestions following the seasons and our market finds

For diner, the candle light experience in a cosy and romantic atmosphere, is refined.You would enjoy a creative cuisine, showing in a new light fish and crustaceans like crabs, shrimps, lobsters, Mahi Mahi and carangues depending on the seasons and the catch of the day. We will also provide you with a large choice of mainly organic vegetables and other local delicacies carefully prepared for your enjoyement.

For the gourmets and those with a sweet tooth we propose a wild range of sweets to please everyone.

Airfare from Los Angeles to Papeete, Tahiti starts at $1179.00 per person for a 5 day special. Inter-Island transfers within French Polynesia are not included in the above rates. Bora Bora AirPass may be purchased from $515.00 pp to include inter-island domestic flights between Papeete, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Bora Bora & Maupiti. Other domestic air options are available and will be quotes in your personalized itinerary as required.
