Qamea Resort & Spa is an intimate boutique resort catering to a maximum of 34 adults, with only seventeen luxuriously appointed and air conditioned beachfront Bures and exquisite Royal Beach Houses with private pools and Jacuzzi spas, nestled among swaying coconut palms and verdant tropical gardens. We are the only resort on Qamea Island, set amidst 100 acres of lush tropical landscaped gardens, bushland, and jagged volcanic South Pacific mountains that soar behind the property. The entire resort fronts onto a private white sand beach over a kilometer in length, and is known as the most spectacular in Fiji’s northern island group.

With four swimming pools (three for the private use guests staying in our Royal Beach Houses), the only Guinot spa in the South Pacific, a PADI 5 Star accredited dive shop, snorkeling just off the resort that has been named as one of the top ten resort snorkel reefs in the world, and daily activities ranging from catered picnic lunches at cascading jungle waterfalls to invigorating coastal and mountain hikes – guests will certainly not need to look far for something exciting and adventurous to do. Accommodations

All rooms are beachfront, fully air conditioned, fan cooled, have large modern European bathrooms with romantic outdoor river stone showers, (except Oceanview Bure where there is an indoor shower only), mahogany hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, separate living area, 4 poster canopy bed, large covered deck with outdoor furniture and hammock. All room amenities include beach bag, beach & bath towels, toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, soaps and lotion, bath robes and slippers, hair dryer, mini bar, French Press coffee and tea, & safety deposit box.

Oceanview Bure 65 sq/mtr (650 sq/ft) traditional Fijian thatched roof bures. Fully renovated with luxurious new bathrooms featuring stone wall and hand carved stone sink. Full ocean view, indoor shower only. 1 in total.

Honeymoon Villa 110 sq/mtr (1,200 sq/ft) traditional Fijian thatched bi-level villa with indoor shower, bathroom with 2 sinks, outdoor river stone courtyard with Jacuzzi spa and outdoor shower, separate living room with daybeds. 1 in total.

Honeymoon Bure 85 sq/mtr (900 sq/ft) traditional Fijian thatched bures set at the far end of the resort’s long white sand beach, commanding incredible ocean, beach and lagoon views. Oversized bathroom with double sinks and floor to ceiling window sliders that pocket into the wall and open up to a lush tropical private garden with Jacuzzi spa pool and outdoor shower. Private covered and canopied day bed on the beach. 2 in total.

Royal Beach House 150 sq/mtr (1,700 sq/ft) luxurious beach houses significantly upgraded in 2011. The three Royal Beach Houses, set at the end of the resort’s exquisite white sand beach, offer absolute privacy, and command outstanding ocean and beach views. The Royal Beach Houses all have their own private plunge pool on an expanded sunning deck that goes to the edge of the beach. Also on the deck facing the views of the lagoon is a heated Jacuzzi spa, an outdoor rock wall shower, and a large romantic daybed. Inside both of the one bedroom Royal Beach Houses there is a separate living/lounge area which steps up to a raised bedroom with a romantic canopy bed, and a large bathroom with double sinks, walk in closet, and indoor shower. The 2 Bedroom Royal Beach House has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and is perfect for two couples traveling together. All of the Royal Beach Houses are equipped with a 42-plasma screen TV connected to international satellite, DVD (multi-zone) player, and stereo with an i-Pod docking station and telephone. 3 in total.

All-inclusive rates are available, please enquire for the details which can include full hot breakfast, 3 course lunch and course dinner ***Recommended*** Must be pre purchased before arrival or on the day of arrival for all days of your stay. The cuisine at Qamea can best be described as South Pacific Rim, which is similar to California Cuisine. Our fruits and vegetables are organic, and if not from our own gardens, are flown in three times a week from New Zealand. All of our seafood is local, caught daily by our two Qamea fishermen. Our beef and poultry is also flown in from Australia and New Zealand. For breakfast we have a full menu from which to order, with favorites such as papaya French toast or mango pancakes (seasonal). For lunch and dinner, the menus change daily, and you will always have a choice of two entrees (starters) and three mains with at least one vegetarian option. Every afternoon at around 4 PM afternoon tea and homemade cakes or pastries are served, and snacks are always available between meals. We have a full bar service, and with our new temperature controlled wine cellar, an ever growing selection of Australian, New Zealand and California wines. <b>Qamea</b> is widely known throughout Fiji for its excellence in food. You will not be disappointed!

Weddings, Honeymooners & Vow Renewal

The resort has designed wedding packages to meet the requirements of most wedding couples, customized wedding packages are also available. As a maximum of two weddings are scheduled per week, the resort requires wedding packages to be paid in full at the time the first deposit is due, and the wedding package payment is non-refundable. 

Honeymoon Bonus: 1 x Bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, 1 x 30 minute massage each -(to be scheduled by the spa to be used within first 24 hours on resort)  1 x Amenity gift pack of oils and lotions. Minimum 7 night stay, must be reserved and confirmed at time reservation is made in order to qualify. Guests must have been married within 90 days of arrival on the resort, proof may be required

Anniversary Bonus: 1 x Bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, 1 x Intimate anniversary dinner at private beach dining bure, on the beach, or on deck of the guest’s bure or villa, 1 x Special Qamea anniversary cake presented by Qamea band and staff.
