Accommodations
Namale boasts 19 units across 5 categories including, 4 Garden Tropical Bures, 5 Ocean Tropical Bures, 5 Honeymoon Bures, 4 Villas and 1 Grand Villa. Namale has taken a green approach to the construction of its bures and villas and as such each is uniquely built to incorporate the environment that we are built on. Namale is built at a location where the rainforest meets the ocean. Garden Tropical Bures (4)
Bure Names – Veisenikau, Lisi, Linieta and Mere.
Each of our 4 Garden Tropical Bures is located within our magnificent gardens offering beautiful views of the landscape and lush tropical gardens. Each bure is traditionally inspired and is a reflection of traditional architecture at its best. Guests can expect to be surrounded by colorful crotons, gardenias, tropical gingers and plummerias. Each bure has a King Bed, two-person shower with a glass door opening in a private deck surrounded by lush foliage. There is an additional deck with outside furniture for lounging amongst the gorgeous flora of the Resort.
Ocean Tropical Bures (5)
Bure Names – Ani, Jeri, Siga, Totoka and Tabua
Each of our 5 Ocean Tropical Bures offer magical views of the ocean. Ani and Jeri are located at the oceans edge with a King Bed and 2 person shower. Both bures have a private deck with steps leading down to a coconut plantation with the oceans edge less than 100 feet away. Siga and Totoka are perched on volcanic uplifts with the ocean just 50 feet below. These bures are mirror images of each other with a fusion of modern and traditional architecture. The interiors of these two bures are made up of native timber with high rise ceilings with floor to ceiling glass wall to take in the magnificent views of the ocean. These bures offer a split-level interior with a King 4-poster bed on the upper level and a sunken sitting room on the lower level; opening up to a private deck. There is also a walk-in closet for clothes and luggage storage and each bure has a Jacuzzi-spa bath tub as well as a 2-person shower opening up to a private deck. Tabua is situated just above the ocean with a large deck for outside dining; ideal for private and intimate dinners. The bure has a large 4-poster bed and 2-person shower. The bure is made up of beautiful native timber and is quite spacious with its own indoor and outdoor lounging area.
Honeymoon Bures (5)
Bure Names – Susana, Nanise, Lomani, Marau and Lomani
Namale’s Honeymoon Bures are designed and situated at locations along the oceans edge to give maximum privacy for honeymooners and couples alike that are after a romantic getaway. Each Bure offers wi-fi and an IPOD docking bay is available upon request. Susana is closest to our Reception is at the situated at the oceans edge. The Bure is inviting with a large King Bed, 2-person shower and a Jacuzzi bath tub that overlooks the ocean. There is a door that opens up to a short walk way that that connects the bure to a private deck and mini plunge pool. The deck and mini-plunge pool is a built on a separate volcanic boulder. There is also a set of stairs leading down to the beach and ocean below. Nanise is an award winning bure and has been recognized as the #1 Ultimate Honeymoon Suite in Fiji and went on to be voted #5 in the World. This bure is built on two huge volcanic boulders that have been placed by Mother Nature at the very edge of the ocean. The bure sits on a giant boulder and is accessible by a set of stairs that has been built onto the boulder. The bure has a large King Bed, 2 person shower and a Jacuzzi bath tub that takes in magical views of the ocean. There is a door that opens up to connect to a bridge walk way that connects guests to the 2nd giant boulder. The boulder has its own private deck and mini plunge pool. The ocean is at the foot of the boulder. Lomani bure is situated at the edge of the cliff with the ocean 98 feet below. This bure has a large King 4-poster bed, 2 person shower and Jacuzzi bath tub. There is a private deck that stretches the width of the bure and has a mini-plunge pool built into the deck. There are stairs leading down to a platform with lounging furniture to make the most of the view and another flight of stairs to give the user reef and ocean access. Marau and Loloma are situated at the oceans edge and each is a large stand alone bure. Each of these bures has a 2-person shower and a Jacuzzi bath tub. There is also a lovers chaise lounge in the bure that takes in the amazing views of the ocean. Each bure has a large private deck with stairs connecting to the manicured grounds and ocean beyond.
Villas (4)
Villa Names – Rosi, Bula House, Civa and Duavata
The Villas at Namale are one-of-a-kind! Each has its own unique layout and style. A common feature in each of our villas which is unique to Namale alone is the Apple Entertainment System. There is a projector in each of the units that is linked to an 8 foot screen and BOSE surround sound Home Theatre system. Guests have access to 13,000 songs and 800 movies of different genres and languages. Each of our villas average 1500 square feet. Each villa offers wi-fi and an IPOD docking bay.
Bula House is the original Namale villa that is perched at the edge of the Namale cliffs. This villa has housed celebrities such as Russell Crowe, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Quincy Jones to name a few. The main villa is luxuriously furnished with a lounging area, billiard table and dining table for 6. There is a fully stocked kitchen for the Namale chef and his team to prepare meals in the comfort of the villa. The villa offers a large 4-poster bed on raised dais and a sunken sitting room for 2. There is a walk in closet and changing area, 2 person shower, Jacuzzi spa tub and an outside shower. A unique feature of this villa is the fact that there is a large deck that holds a hut tub and mini plunge pool with outside furniture ideal for private meals and for sun lounging. This villa also has steps leading down to a small beach section at the oceans edge. There is also a table for private dining on the beach that is ideal for private lunches.
Bula House also has a 2 guest rooms that are connected by a walk way from the main villa. The guest rooms are also luxuriously furnished and each can hold either 2 single beds or a large Kind bed. The showers in these 2 guest rooms are unique unto themselves as they have walls that open up to Mother Nature and the Koro Sea beyond.
Rosi is a spacious villa that offers a large living area with a luxurious lounge suite and a billiard table for personal enjoyment. The villa offers a King 4-poster bed on a raised dais and a sunken sitting room area that opens up to a private deck that extends the length of the villa. Rosi villa offers a large walk in closet and changing area. There is also a large 2-person shower and a Jacuzzi spa bath. The deck that runs the length of the villa also holds a hot tub and a mini plunge pool. To maximize the privacy and setting of this villa, there is a stair running off of the main deck that connects to a private deck for 2 with lounging and sunbathing furniture.
Civa and Duavata are the newest of our villas and both of these villas has been instrumental in Namale receiving its award for the Most Unique Accommodation two years in a row – 2010 and 2011. These sister villas are an architectural feat that is made of 7 free flowing bures interconnected. There is a reception area that leads onto the main deck of the villa. The West wing of the villa houses the dining area of the villa with a large dining room table for 4. The mini bar can also be found in this part of the villa. There is also a rest room and outdoor shower which makes the dining area ideal for conversion into a bedroom. The East wing of the villa houses the main sleeping area which has a large King Bed, lounge area with folding doors that open up to a large deck that runs the length of the villa, walk in storage and changing room, Jacuzzi spa bath, large indoor and outdoor bath for 2. The villa also has a wrap around infinity pool, spacious deck for entertaining and luxurious outdoor furniture for lounging and sun bathing.
Grand Villa (1)
Villa Name – Dream House / Vale Tatadra
Dream House is a massive 2000 sq. ft. and is the only 2-bedroom Villa on property. There is a grand entrance with 2 mini waterfall features on each side of the entrance. The main entrance of the villa leads into a large common area that is luxuriously furnished and set up to maximize the amazing views of the Koro Sea. There is a working table for the executive on the move, a private mini-library, dining table for 6 and a kitchenette for the Chef and his team to prepare meals in the privacy of the villa. The main bedroom has a large and impressive King bed, restroom, spacious shower and a circular Jacuzzi spa bath. The bedroom leads out to a large outdoor shower. The secondary villa offers a large king bed, massive shower for 2 and an outdoor shower. Each of the bedrooms also leads out to a day bure which is perched at the edge of the cliff for maximum views of the ocean. The villa has a large deck which is ideal for lounging. There is a water feature that drops down to a swimming pool which drops down to a Jacuzzi spa tub and a deck that juts out over the ocean for a heightened experience. This villa has BOSE surround sound system, projector with pull down screen to access Namale’s Apple TV, docking bay and is wi-fi friendly
Dining
Namale offers a fine selection of foods and beverages. Namale offers a highly trained and experienced team that is used to catering for a variety of palettes. Guests can expect elaborate breakfasts, 3-course lunches and 5-course dinners. Guests can expect a fusion of international flavors and local foods with ingredients sourced locally and some imported into Fiji specifically for Namale guests. Namale is sensitive to dietary requests and food allergies and as such request that special request be brought to our attention no later than 2-weeks prior to guest arrivals at Namale. Any special requests brought to our attention by either the booking agent or guests themselves will be noted and we will try our best to ensure that specific food and beverage needs and wants are met. The beating of the traditional Fijian drum, the Lali, signals our dining times.

All our meals are served in our Main Bure, Bure Levu, unless otherwise stated. Casual dress is suitable for all of our dining areas. There are also a variety of other dining areas for guests that are after a private dine out. There is no additional expense for outside dining or room service. This is also included in our rates. Guests are to connect with the Food and Beverage team whilst in-house to arrange special dine outs.
Bar Service
The bar service is available throughout the day.
- If there is a certain bottle of choice that we can provide you in your bure, please ask the wait staff in the Main Bure or Reception, and we will arrange to have it delivered to your bure for your enjoyment throughout your stay.
- During the day, our Dive Shop & Activities Team will be available to take your drink orders.
- Your Bure mini-bar is restocked daily.
- There is also a snack menu available in each of our bures and villas for guests to choose from. Allow for 20-minutes from time the order is taken to delivery.
- If your area of choice for the day is the Kava Bowl, please feel free to help yourself to our Kava Bowl Bar, which has a variety of beverages. Wines are available upon request and will be brought through from the main bar to the Kava Bowl
- There is also a cocktail hour, with hors d oeuvres before dinner. Three nights out of the week, the talented Namale Band entertains our guests with their beautiful music. They will also invite you for a drink around the kava bowl.
Wines: Our wine selection consists of a variety of wines from different regions of the world. We endeavor to select wines to suit most palates and dishes. For meals, we select wines to complement the food served. Naturally, you are not restricted to that selection; just ask for our wine list in the Main Bure in order to find a bottle more suitable to your taste.
Premium wine list: Guests will have the option to purchase bottles of wine off our Premium Wine List once they have arrived at the Resort. The Premium Wine list is at an additional cost, not included in the all-inclusive accommodation rates.
