It's 14 shimmering white sand beaches are magnificently inviting. Your traditional Fijian style thatched bure is a spacious two-room suite with two baths and a vaulted ceiling that is a work of art. Your day on Turtle may begin with horseback ride to an early morning sunrise breakfast or maybe a deep-sea fishing trip. Activities are limited only by your imagination. During your stay at this exotic island retreat, your home will be one of only 14 private villas, or “bures” traditional, authentic, eco-friendly, two-room cottages built by Fijian craftsmen. Spacious, romantic, and wonderfully relaxing, light spills in from windows that overlook the tranquil waters of the Blue Lagoon while gentle winds carry the intoxicating scent of tropical blossoms through the breezy interiors. Each luxurious bure provides separate sleeping, dressing, and bathing areas, as well as a bar stocked with drinks and fresh tropical fruit, Bose CD players, and Pure Fiji body products. Every Grand bure has a king-size bed, extensive dressing area, writing desk, walk-in double shower, hot tub, outdoor open air rinsing shower, and a veranda with queen-size day bed for napping in the sun-flecked shade of the palms overhead. The Deluxe bure has a king-size bed, bathroom with two showers, a rattan furnished sitting room, a writing desk, a queen-size day bed, and an outdoor open air rinsing shower. Each bure is slightly different in design and layout, reflecting the uniqueness of the setting, with bespoke art and design. Many bures are named after some of the past guests, including “Brooke’s Bure’ (Brooke Shields), “Ratu Mara Bure” (former Fiji President).

Group dinner parties are held every night at several locations around the island, where you can linger for hours among new-found friends, and have stimulating conversations with guests and the Turtle family alike. After dinner, take in the talented, entertaining Fijians as they inspire you with local, favorite songs and dances.
You’ll feast on delicacies like yellow fin tuna, succulent lobster, crab, tender Australian beef, sweet native fruits, and island-grown organic vegetables picked just that afternoon. Fine French, Italian, Australian, New Zealand, and U.S. wines and champagnes are poured generously, and round out any of our fine foods.

Family time at Turtle is magic for everyone: parents, kids, grandparents, and especially our Turtle Family. Fijians believe that family and friends are the most important things in life. From this belief, we have created a new sense of community, complete with a nurturing, teaching, fun-loving staff.
We provide every child 5 and under with a Nanny. From 6 years and above, every child has their own “Bula Buddy” to be a companion and playmate. Parents can relax and enjoy the serenity Turtle Island has to offer, safe in the knowledge that their children are constantly under the watchful eye of our dedicated, loving Turtle Island family. The activity program for Family Time is very flexible. Our activity directors tailor the days to make sure that there is always something fun and adventurous for every child on the Island. We have fishing, sporting events, lots of swimming and water activities, as well as crafts and games. (Extra costs may be applied, please enquire at time of booking)
