Overview
Situated on 3200 unspoiled acres, Laucala Island Resort is made up of 25 unique Fijian villas, with a choice of overwater or beachfront, as well as hilltop residences carved into the volcanic cliffs. Outdoor showers, private pools and plasma TVs are included in each residence as is a private butler service or "Tao" as they are called on the island. Guests can experience ultimate private island living with an 18-hole Golf course, Spa, outstanding cuisine from the island’s five restaurants, private boats to explore diving or fishing, and 3 miles of trails and activities to satisfy every whim. Laucala Island has always been a place of solitude, this self-sustaining paradise produces its own livestock and vegetables, and owes most of its products and structures to the island's resources. Originally created by a British scholar in the late 1900's, Laucala Island still stays true to its authentic Fijian roots by using island-created products, materials, fruits, vegetables, and livestock as often as possible. Laucala can be reached by boat, but the reef can be a challenge to navigate. Most guests arrive via private plane on the island's airstrip.. Activities
The lagoon pool meshes with lap pool, and is dotted with organic-shaped islands for sunbathing. Experience the underwater world on a unique submarine ride or go explore the island's trails and beaches on horseback. Kick back at the Spa, swing away on the 18 golf course, trot over to the equestrian center, charter any of 14 boats, or dine at one of five restaurants – all of them using the fresh produce and livestock from the resort's gardens and farm.

25 Bures are dotted around the resort and the following options are available: One Bedroom Plantation Villa, One Bedroom Seagrass Villa, One Bedroom Plateau Villa, Two Bedroom Plantation Villa, Two Bedroom Seagrass Villa, Two Bedroom Plateau Villa. Room features include large outdoor bathing areas with oversized bath tubs, a yoga deck overlooking the coconut plantation and an outdoor shower. Large outdoor dining pavilions allow guest to dine under the stars. Dining is available at one of the five restaurants, a private chef is also available with dining being served under the stars. (Please enquire at time of booking)

How to get there
Arrive at Laucala Island by scheduled Air Laucala (1 ½ hours) from Nadi International Airport to Laucala Island. (Laucala can be reached by boat, but the reef can be a challenge to navigate. Most guests arrive via private plane on the island's airstrip.)
