Accommodations

Tamanu Beach offers 22 bungalows offered in 5 categories with two configurations: First are the Studio bungalows which are self-contained studio style and the room categories, garden, lagoon view and beachfront, these all work great for couples. The second are the one bedroom bungalows so large they comfortably accept family of 4 in the Lagoon view . Beachfront maximum of 2 adults.

Dining

Tamanu Beach has a great place for dining, Tamanu Beachfront Restaurant. Nestled on the beachfront on Aitutaki’s blue lagoon, the restaurant is built in the traditional ‘Are’ style, with local Tamanu timber (mahogany) offering an authentic Pacific Island dining experience. Enjoy the romantic Aitutaki sunsets with a warm frangipani breeze and the sound of gentle waves lapping the shore as you dine. This a-la-carte restaurant seats up to 80 and offers a variety of dishes inspired by Pacific Island cuisine with a range of western favorites. The quality menu is prepared by experienced resort chefs and is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Direct flights from Los Angeles to Rarotonga depart just once a week on a Saturday or Sunday night at 11pm, arriving on a Sunday or Monday morning at 6am. Your return flight would 6 days later night around midnight arriving back in Los Angeles on a Saturday or Sunday at around 12:30pm. Your choices are therefore 6 days and 5 nights or 13 days and 12 nights etc. The rates are based on the lowest published airfare and the best low season resort special and is subject to availability.
