One of the most exciting revelations during the construction of the Resort was the discovery of a 100 year old church tucked amongst the trees. Built out of burnt coral, the 100 year old Church has been reconstructed to its original stature and will be an important venue for weddings and other receptions. A breeding sanctuary for the native Samoan bird the "Toloa" can be visited on site, providing an interesting alternative tour for bird and nature lovers. The Resort ensures the preservation of the sanctuary and the historical sites within its extensive 224 acres of grounds.
Your rooms at the new Aggie Grey's Lagoon, Beach Resort & Spa are designed to fully compliment the beauty of the turquoise lagoon that surrounds the beachfront of the Resort. Each of the 140 Deluxe Rooms have been specifically designed to gain maximum view of the white sand beach front, the big Island of Savaii, Apolima and Manono Islands which sit on the not so distant horizon are all within view of the Resort. In fact everything at this Resort is built with the stunning views of the ocean in mind. Of the 140 Deluxe Rooms 128 are Deluxe Ocean View Rooms, 4 Deluxe Rooms for the Physically Challenged and 8 interconnecting Deluxe Ocean View Rooms.
On the sprawling 50 acres of the Resort we will also encourage each newly wedded couple to plant a coconut of life or niu as known in Samoa. That way you are not just married to your new Samoan family at the Resort but you are married to each other in the earth of the Samoan way of life or Fa'a Samoa as we call it, with its age old customs and traditions. The coconut palm will seal your love for each other and the customs of love that will guide you both to a happy and blessed life together.
The above rates are based on travel in low season. Low season = 01Jan08 – 14May08, 16Sep08 – 26Nov08 & 16Jan09 – 31Mar09. If you travel in shoulder season you can expect to pay an additional $119 pp. Shoulder season = 15May08 – 30May08, 01Sep08 – 26Nov08, 27Nov08 – 05Dec08 and 01Jan09 – 15Jan09. If you travel in High season you can expect to pay an additional $514 pp. High season = 01Jun08 – 31Aug08 and 09Dec08 – 31Dec08. Prices are based on 7 Nights away from home but only actually include 5 nights accommodation as 2 nights are traveling. Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Add-on fares available from other cities. Hotels are subject to availability. US/foreign taxes/fees/fuel surcharges of approximately $235, including September 11th Security Fee, are additional. Our stylish resort is nestled amongst 50 acres of tropical gardens, amidst tall swaying palm trees and is bordered by a professionally designed 18 Hole Championship Golf course. The Resort is stunningly located on a stretch of white sand beach with its own blue turquoise lagoon and was one of the first sites where the Polynesian migrants landed when they set foot on the Samoa Islands some 3000 years ago.
