Fiji for Students Barefoot Sail Safari Cruise and Crusoe’s Retreat – 10 Night Package Cruise the Yasawa Islands by tall ship on a 4 day sailing safari and experience a unique Fiji adventure. Your sailing adventure begins on the Spirit of the Pacific, a 108 ft topsail schooner. You will enjoy a full day cruise through the Mamanuca and Southern Yasawa Islands arriving in the evening at our tropical base camp – the Barefoot Lodge on beautiful Drawaqa Island. Each morning, Spirit of the Pacific sets a new course to islands, reefs, caves and fishing spots. Experience a new adventure every day – swim with manta rays, snorkel, trek overland, visit islands and traditional villages, go fishing, laze on deck or get a few tips on tall ship sailing. Each evening, return to the Barefoot Lodge where sunset swims, volleyball, night fishing tours, star gazing, Fijian ”lovo” feasts, and nightly entertainment are all part of the fun. There are stunning coral gardens right off the beach where you can snorkel, kayak and swim with the local manta rays, or spend a few lazy hours alternating between the hammock and lagoon. You will stay in one of twenty waterfront bures built and thatched in traditional style by local villagers. Each bure has two single beds which can be pushed together if you prefer (linen supplied, but please BYO towel). The showers and toilets are communal with cool fresh water.
After 4 Days of sailing you will be ready to relax at the lovely Crusoe’s Retreat. Crusoe's Retreat is a small, intimate and secluded Resort set amidst lush tropical rain forests and nestled on the shore of Fiji's beautiful Coral Coast. After turning off the main Highway and traveling a couple of miles along a dirt road, you are suddenly struck by the awesome panoramic view that rises up to meet you. When you arrive at Crusoe's Retreat you will feel as if you have discovered a secret paradise…….and you have! Your escape to paradise begins with a shell lei, our very special Bula Cocktail and a big Bula smile!! With just 28 free standing Bures, Crusoe's Retreat welcomes just 60 guests at any one time. The flight prices included in this package are based on the lowest fare and subject to availability. To get this rate we recommend you book early. Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Add-on fares available from other cities. Hotels are subject to availability. US/foreign taxes/fees/fuel surcharges of approximately $285, including September 11th Security Fee, are additional. Prices reflect a 3% discount for purchases made by cash/check. There are no discounts for payment made by credit cards. Cancellation penalties and other restrictions apply.
