Accommodations

Matangi offers 8 traditional Fijian designed bures (3 oceanview and 5 beachfront) plus 3 unique tree houses. Each feature air-conditioned beds and ceiling fans, 4-poster Sealy king-size beds, private facilities, outdoor
lava-rock showers, Pure Fijibath amenities, bathrobe and slippers, hair dryer, in room electronic safe, I-pod
docking station, fully stocked mini bar (additional cost based on usage), fresh baked cookies, French press
coffee/tea making facilities, large sitting area, private veranda, beach towels and beach hammock.

At Matangi our cuisine is largely influenced by our tropical surroundings, Fijian heritage and the unique flavors of the South Pacific. Meals are served in our magnificent “Vale-ni-Kana” Dining Room. Built only meters from our pristine beach, this stunning complex boasts 270-degree views our the ocean and our exquisitely landscaped gardens.
Our meals provide an array of fresh fruit and seafood caught by local fishermen, imported meats, salad, locally grown vegetables, tropical fruit from surrounding gardens, freshly baked breads and sumptuous desserts. Our daily meals are planned using the finest and freshest ingredients available. Special dietary needs are happily catered to.
To complement our fine meals, a large selection of world-class Australian and New Zealand wines and French Champagnes are available. Our beverage list also includes tropical inspired cocktails, rums, beer and an extensive selection of fine spirits from around the world.

The Island Wedding Package – $1,170 USD

Legal registration on Taveuni Island (not on weekends or public holidays)

Weddings are usually performed on the Resort’s main beach at sunset. All guests of the Resort are invited to
attend the celebration (unless otherwise specified). Complimentary rum punch and appetizers are served after
the wedding for all guests.

Renewal of Vows Package – $600 USD
Celebrate your partnership in paradise! Commemorate your love and commitment to your partner with a
pledge of love on our beautiful island. Renewal of Vows ceremony is performed on the beach, at sunset by a
minister of the Church. However, this is NOT a legal binding commitment and cannot be substituted for our
Island Wedding Package.

Package rate below include:
Round-trip airfare from Los Angeles, meet & greet upon arrival in Fiji, ongoing flights to Taveuni, round-trip road and launch transfers to and from the resort, welcome leis and chilled scented refresher towels upon arrival at the resort, a Matangi fruit platter and Matangi Sarongs in your bure, 7 night’s accommodation in Bure of your choice and all meals during your stay
