Overview
Te Vakaroa is a private gated property comprising six luxurious villas. Our peaceful surroundings allow you to escape your hectic lifestyle. The villas were designed by Sumich Architects who have vast experience designing and building numerous upmarket properties in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The buildings compliment the natural surroundings nicely.  This resort has gone great lengths to create the feeling of an ultimate tropical hideaway using wooden joinery, local timber and coral rock.

Accommodations
Te Vakaroa boast six contemporary villas complete with floor-to-ceiling sliders that open onto a large private patio over looking their Infinity pool and Jacuzzi – the ideal places to unwind and enjoy a tropical cocktail.  A short stroll along the beach gives access to some of the island’s renowned restaurants. Guests can enjoy a fully hosted holiday or choose to be full self-catering each villa has a beautiful fully appointed kitchen.
Dining
Daily tropical breakfasts are provided complimentary to your Villa which have fully appointed kitchens with all facilities. Dining and bar facilities are available at Sails Restaurant adjacent to the Villas or meals can be sourced from Sails room service menu with a chef available by arrangement.  Dine by the pool or have your meal served at your leisure in your very own villa. Our fabulous location means we are within easy walking distance of many more restaurants who cater for a wide range of tastes.

Weddings & Honeymooners
The recommended wedding coordinators ‘Polynesian Moments’ is fast gaining a reputation as being second to none as regards ‘tailored top end’ wedding co-ordination. It is owned and operated by Cook Islanders, who share over 25 years experience in the local hospitality and tourism industry. Both were raised on Rarotonga and have a vast knowledge of the island and what it has to offer.  Since all wedding packages are tailor-made to suit the individual needs of each couple, prices will vary.
Available Options:
A range of venue options for wedding ceremonies and receptions that are outside of the standard hotel on-site locations. These locations include isolated beach venues, garden venues, church venues, or mountain/scenic views.
Exclusive use at Te Vakaroa Villas and our sister Villas (all beach front) close by.
Personalized Koromiri Island ( Muri Lagoon Motu ) wedding ceremonies.
Full coordination of all on-the-ground arrangements including ceremony and reception venues, food and beverage arrangements, entertainment, photographer, hair & makeup, flowers, transport, etc.
Wedding menus and full function service using professionals to cater at Te Vakaroa Villas or outside restaurants.
