Aitutaki Day Tour – $450 per person

The Aitutaki Day Tour operates daily except Sunday, taking you to one of the worlds most beautiful lagoons, offering the opportunity to snorkel and relax in clear turquoise water. Departing from Rarotonga Airport at 8am and returning at 6.30pm, an all day itinerary includes hotel transfers, inter-island airfares, Aitutaki Circle Island tour and lagoon cruise with barbecue lunch. The Day Tour starts with a coach transfer from your hotel to Rarotonga International Airport. The flight takes 40 minutes on Air Rarotonga’s new Saab 340 pressurized aircraft, during which a light breakfast is served. On arrival at Aitutaki you will be taken on a short island tour by ‘le truck’ lasting around one and a half hours and during which a stop is made at the local village market featuring souvenir T-shirts and locally made artifacts. Then it’s time to visit Akitua where the 71 foot traditionally designed catamaran Titi Ai Tonga departs from. Equipped with on board toilets, BBQ facilities and bar, Titi Ai Tonga quests can enjoy both covered comfort and open deck views during the five-hour lagoon excursion. From Akitua, you get the opportunity to visit the uninhabited offshore islands (motu) before heading out to the reef to experience some of the best snorkeling and fish feeding in the Pacific. Snorkel amongst schools of colorful butterfly fish, hand feed schools of playfully banded Sergeant Major fish and see giant clams in their natural habitat. When you smell the onions, its time to board the boat for what has been described as “one of the best fresh fish BBQ for miles” in one of the best settings on earth. Titi Ai Tonga becomes a floating restaurant with one of the best views around. Here, guests can enjoy a leisurely lunch on route to world-renowned Tapuaetai ~One Foot Island. Cultural Village Tour Raratonga

An Exciting and Memorable Cultural Experience!
Our guided tour commences at 10am with presentations and information on Cook Islands history, Maori- medicine, fishing, weaving, coconut husking, carving, cooking, costume making and learning to dance. This is an interactive and fun way to learn about the culture of the Cook Islands. The three and a half hour tour is topped off with a sumptuous meal of local delicacies and a show featuring dance, songs, chants, legends and music of the Cook Islands, in our ‘Are Karioi’ (house of entertainment). Circle Island Tour Raratonga

The only tour on the island that includes a lunch and show!
This tour commences at midday at the Cultural Village, with a sumptuous lunch and show featuring dance, songs, legends and music of the Cook Islands. Following lunch the Circle Island tour commences. As your travel around Rarotonga our guides will provide an informative commentary and explain points of interest along the way. They are well informed on issues such as Cook Islands history, agriculture, lifestyle and much more. This tour is a ‘must’ for a greater appreciation of what you see while on holiday. The tour finishes at approximately 4pm. This tour is available on Monday, Wednesday & Friday afternoons.

Combined Cultural Village & Circle Island Tour Raratonga

The best of the Cook Islands all in one day!
Highly recommended to be taken immediately upon arrival. This tour is an invaluable experience and will help you understand and appreciate what you see and experience while in the Cook Islands. The tour combines the Cultural Village tour and Circle Island tour and commences at 10am. A unique cultural experience and guided tour of the Village is followed with a sumptuous lunch and show featuring dance, songs, chants, legends and music of the Cook Islands, finishing at approx 1:30pm. Around 1:45pm you board our bus for an informative Circle Island tour with full commentary. The day concludes at approx 4pm. This tour is available Monday, Wednesday & Fridays.
