Day 1:
A Kangaroo Island Sealink coach will pick you up from your hotel for your transfer to 85 Franklin Street, the departure point of your tour. At 3.45pm join your coach to commence a two day/two night Kangaroo Island Coast to Coast tour. Journey south through the rolling hills along the Fleurieu Peninsula coastline to Cape Jervis to board the 6.00pm Sealink ferry for the crossing to Kangaroo Island. Upon arrival on Kangaroo Island transfer to your accommodation. Overnight accommodation at Kangaroo Island Seafront Resort in a Sorrento’s Room.
Day 2: Today visit Clifford’s Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tastings and an opportunity to sample homemade honey ice-cream and honey beauty products. Travel to Vivonne Bay for lunch. After lunch visit Seal Bay for a guided beach walk amongst a colony of wild and rare Australian Sea Lions. After Seal Bay, see the Birds of Prey free-flight demonstration, an interactive and educational display of native Australian birds and raptors. Travel back to Kingscote to watch the pelican feeding and learn about these birds, before being transferred to your overnight accommodation. Day 3: Today travel to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery to sample the eucalyptus products, then travel to the centre of Kangaroo Island to the Parndana Wildlife Park for a guided tour, and the opportunity to feed kangaroos and see koalas. From here, travel to Hanson Bay Sanctuary for lunch and a walk through Eucalypt trees to look for koalas. Then travel to Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. The tour of the park will take you to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable Rocks for great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views, and Admiral’s Arch boardwalk which takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for New Zealand fur seals. Return to Penneshaw to board the Sealink ferry to Cape Jervis, to connect with coach transfer back to Adelaide. Tour concludes at approximately 10.40pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.
