Weddings at Royale Takitumu are designed to suit the very special and private occasion that this is. You will find our staff and management very sensitive to your every mood and absolutely nothing is too much trouble.
From lovingly created flower archways to perfectly chilled champagne to the delicate surprise touches we will make to your honeymoon villa, everything is designed to ensure a perfect, relaxing and extremely touching wedding never to be forgotten by those who witness it.
 The historic church or on site beach, garden and waterfall locations are breathtaking and will be a hard choice to make as all are perfect for the ultimate wedding photographs.
Our specialist hairdressers, masseuses and all round beauty therapists are highly experienced and will ensure you are at your beautiful best for your wedding day. A relaxing spa and in-room massage will put you both into relax mode and prepare you for the excitement to come.
Royale Takitumu chefs will create the special tropical wedding cake of your choice with canapes and a sumptuous wedding feast should that be your wish.
 Many couples choose to include our traditional wedding dancers and musicians – a touching experience performed with feeling and love.
Our wedding photographer has years of experience and creativity and you can be sure that your memories, provided in a photograph album, on cd, or in DVD format will be of the highest quality in both form and presentation.
All our weddings are subsidised by Takitumu and are available only to our own guests (a minimum 3 night stay).
Our wedding hostess of ten years experience, is personable, efficient and reliable. She will ensure your most important day becomes your most memorable one and is available to help you though the processes leading up to and including the big day.
Documentation Required
To get married in the Cook Islands you will need the following:
- Birth certificates and passports (if married previously - divorce decree papers, if widowed - death certificate of partner)
- Wedding couple should be in the Cook Islands 4 working days from the time of visiting Registrar prior to wedding date set
- License should be issued 4 days prior to wedding date
- Our Senior Wedding Coordinator Mrs Rongo Preston
- Rongo will correspond with you prior to your arrival to Rarotonga to discuss all arrangements for your wedding.
She will take you to the Registry Office to apply for the marriage license, then, will help choose your wedding location and finalize the little and big things that make a "stress-free wedding".

for departures after this date. The flight prices included in this package
are based on the lowest fare and subject to availability. To get this rate
we recommend you book early. Prices are per person based on double occupancy.
Add-on fares available from other cities. Hotels are subject to availability.
US/foreign taxes/fees/fuel surcharges of approximately $458 are INCLUDED. Prices
reflect a 3% discount for purchases made by cash/check. There are no discounts
for payment made by credit cards. Cancellation penalties and other restrictions
apply. There may be black-out dates on this package. Direct flights depart
from LAX on Sundays arriving in Rarotonga on Monday morning and then depart
Rarotonga on Saturday Night to return back in LAX on Sunday.
