The Edgewater Resort overlooks a lovely white sand beach and sparkling blue lagoon. Days can be spent relaxing by the pool, enjoying a refreshing cocktail, exploring the island paradise. In the evening, you can watch the beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean before dining or enjoying an island dance/drum night. Wake to the gentle breeze and fragrant scent of tropical flowers, and begin your day again. We invite you to enjoy a relaxing holiday at the Edgewater Resort where we believe in “sharing the magic” of our beautiful island paradise with you. The Resort is set amidst six acres of tropical gardens and is situated on the sheltered coast of Rarotonga, perfect for the evening sunsets.
The Edgewater Resort offers 250 comfortable, air-conditioned guest rooms and suites all with private patio or balcony, refrigerator, ceiling fan, telephone, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities and a color television with complimentary satellite stations including CNN. In addition to the guest rooms and suites, the Edgewater Resort has recently opened fifteen studios, and two two-bedroom apartments. All are air-conditioned, are self catering, and have refrigerator, IDD phone, satellite television, twice weekly maid service, daily towel change, and full cooking facilities.
Tuesdays and Saturdays are Island nights and reservations are essential. Your evening will start with an island buffet feast. You’ll sample sumptuous local dishes such as Ika Mata (raw fish in coconut milk), Rukau (taro plant leaves in coconut milk), taro, chicken, roast pork, fresh fish, vegetables, salads and a wonderful array of tasty deserts. The show starts at 8pm with entertainment from the popular Pearly Stars Band. You’ll experience the exhilaration and grand spectacle of a Cook Island dance and drum show. This will definitely be an evening to remember.
